DC-761 Membership Process
Step 1: Review Rules of Membership and Code of Conduct
As a chapter of the National African American Gun Association (NAAGA), DC-761 members must adhere to and abide by NAAGA's Rules of Membership and Code of Conduct. Please review to determine eligibility to join DC-761.
Step 2: Become a Member of NAAGA
DC-761 is Washington, DC's chapter of the National African American Gun Association (NAAGA). Members of DC-761 must first become members of NAAGA before they are eligible for membership into DC-761. If you are not yet a member of NAAGA, please become a member. Annual memberships for NAAGA begin at $29 for individuals.
Step 3: Complete DC-761 Membership Application
Once you have joined NAAGA, interested members should complete the DC-761 membership application. Your application will be reviewed, and if approved as a prospective member, you will be invited to attend a New Member Orientation Course (NMOC) to be formally accepted as a new member of the organization.
Step 4: Complete New Member Orientation Course (NMOC)
The final step in the process is completing the virtual New Member Orientation Course (NMOC). This course is designed to orient new members to the organization. The course runs 90 minutes and at the end of the course you must complete and pass an assessment to be accepted as a member of the chapter.
